Changes to electricity prices, fees and charges 2026

Each year, the WA State Government reviews electricity prices to better reflect the cost of supplying power across the state.

To keep pricing fair, the Government applies a Uniform Tariff Policy, meaning all customers in WA pay the same for electricity, regardless of where they live.

May 04, 2026

What's changing?

The majority of changes to electricity prices for WA residents this year are in line with inflation and are capped at 2.75%, with a 1.91% increase to the L4 tariff.

Energy concessions and rebates have also increased by 10%, providing additional support for eligible households.

These prices are effective 1 July 2026, include GST (except where noted otherwise) and are subject to change at any time.
